Technical Senior High School is located at 233 12th Ave. S. and 7th St. S. It is one of the two major public high schools in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the other being Apollo High School. The first building was built in 1917, with another building built in the 1970s to handle the growing population.

Academics

Tech High School provides quality education to the students. Tech offers AP courses, in fact, it is ranked the top in AP scores in Minnesota. Aside from offering AP courses, Tech offers the Senior to Sophomore program together with SCSU. Tech class sizes usually range from 15 to 33.

Sports

The Football Team, the Technical Tigers, is currently ranked #7 in the State Poll.

Technical High School Sports has been privileged to have their very own Superfan (name unknown) who attends the majority of their sporting events. Very little is known about the Tech Superfan, but he is a dedicated bugger, I'll tell ya that much.

Jail/Bathroom

One of the more popular criticisms of Technical Senior High School is that its interior "looks like a combination bathroom and jail cell, what with these tiles on the walls and jail bars around the stairwells," remarked by R&B musician Mark Morrison during his visit to the school in December, 1997.
