Tabriz Rail way station's current building was built during second Pahlavi time. The first rail way to Tabriz has been built by Russian. The railway was started from Iranian border up to currently Azerbaijan border. On that time the railway station was thoroughly out of the city. for this purpose the Russians made Tabriz Gunga (something like train which was powered by horses). from city up to the railway station.
