Tecos UAG

The Club de Futbol Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, sometimes UAG or, more often, Tecos (from tecolotes, a Nahuatl word meaning owls) is a Mexican professional association football club associated with the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara AC. UAG play in Mexico's First Division, with home games in the Estadio 3 de Marzo (March Third Stadium, for the University's 1935 date of founding). The 30,015 seat facility is located in Zapopan, a municipality within the Guadalajara, Jalisco conurbation.

UAG Tecos is one of three top-flight teams in Guadalajara. They have won the national championship once, as well as 2 international championships. The club was runner up in the Mexican League's Clausura 2005, after losing to Club America in the second game, 6-3.
