The
SupportDesk appliance is a remote support solution developed by
NetworkStreaming, Inc. It enables a support rep to gain screen, mouse and keyboard control of a remote user’s computer for the purposes of
technical support. The user must initiate the
remote control software session by clicking a link on the support rep’s website. SupportDesk works through
firewalls without any firewall configuration and does not require a software client to be pre-installed on the remote user’s computer. SupportDesk may be used to gain control of almost any Windows-based PC no matter where it is located, even if it is behind a firewall. SupportDesk is the only product of its kind to be delivered on an appliance (a 1U rack-mounted device).
The SupportDesk Appliance has now called the Bomgar box (NetworkStreaming, Inc. is now Bomgar Corporation) and it comes in 3 different editions:
The B100 that is a single user license
The B200 will support up to 20 Reps.
The B300 is an enterprise level appliance that can be integrated with LDAP and BMC Remedy
