Soundarya Rajinikanth

Soundarya Rajinikanth (born September 20th, 1984) is a graphic designer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India who has contributed in several films in Kollywood. Soundarya Rajinikanth is most popularly known for her work in Anbe Aaruyire. She is the youngest daughter of film actor Rajinikanth.

Cinema Career

Soundarya is a qualified computer graphics designer and was signed up by S. J. Suryah as the graphic designer for the film Anbe Aaruyire in 2004. She later began pursuing her career in cinema as a director and producer, with her first venture being Sultan: The Warrior which has her father Rajinikanth as the main character in animation. The film is set for release in April 2009. It is also expected to be released in several languages simultaneously.

Her production house, Ocher Studios, recently merged with Warner Bros. Entertainment. Fourthcoming announced projects are Billa 2, a sequel to the 2007 Ajith Kumar film, Billa, and a Telugu film directed by Puri Jagannadh starring Mahesh Babu.

Soundarya Rajinikanth made a cameo in her father Rajnikanth's film Kuselan for the song Cinema Cinema.
