Sophie Stanton (born Cardiff, Wales) is an actress and playwright. She is known for her role as Detective Chief Inspector Jill Marsden in the television series EastEnders (2001-2003) and as Dilly in The Wilsons. Her film credits include supporting roles in Girls Night, Closer and Shadowlands.

Her home community is Suffolk and in 1991 she graduated from Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Stanton wrote the theatre play Cariad.
