It is often frequented by those continuing to downtown Gatineau, including the Terrasses de la Chaudière government office complex.
Before its cancellation on December 14, 2006, the O-Train, with the extension of the North-South LRT lane, would have served this station heading towards downtown.
It the future, there are plans for extensive residential developments that will create a new urban village in the Lebreton Flats area. This is expected to increase usage of Lebreton Station.
To the east, O'Connor Street is 5 minutes away, Mackenzie King is 10 minutes away, and Hurdman Station is 13 minutes away. To the west, Tunney's Pasture Station is reachable in 2 minutes, and Lincoln Fields Station is reachable in 10 minutes.
