Simone Osygus

Simone Osygus (born September 30, 1968 in Wuppertal, Nordrhein-Westfalen) is a former freestyle swimmer from Germany, who won two silver medals and two bronze medals at the Summer Olympics.

She won a bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, alongside Franziska van Almsick, Daniela Hunger and Manuela Stellmach, in the 4x100 metres Freestyle Relay. In the same event Osygus once again won bronze at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, with Van Almsick, Sandra Völker and Antje Buschschulte. She also won two sliver medals in the 4x200 metres freestyle relay and 4x100 medley relay after swimming in the heats.
