Simon Finn (politician)

Simon Finn was first elected to the seat of Yeerongpilly in the Queensland State Parliament on 7 February 2004. He is a member of the Australian Labor Party.

On 11 September 2006 he was appointed as the Deputy Government Whip. He is also a member of the Parliamentary Criminal Misconduct Committee.

Mr Finn has been an advocate of preserving Brisbane heritage, including the historic Regent Theatre a petition for heritage listing of the venue was tabled before the Queensland Legislative Assembly with Mr Finn's sponsoreship.
