Siddhartha or Siddharta is the birth name of the historical and religious figure Gautama Buddha, known as the Buddha. Siddhartha was an aristocrat and had never seen life outside of his palace before. So he decided to sneak out. For the first time in his life, he saw old age, illness and death. He also saw a man who had nothing. He had left his family to try to find true happiness.
