Shota Chochishvili

Shota Samsonovich Chochishvili (შოთა ჩოჩიშვილი, Шота Самсонович Чочишвили, born July 10, 1950) was a Georgian judoka who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1972 Summer Olympics and in the 1976 Summer Olympics.

He was born in Ghvlevi, Shida Kartli.

In 1972 he won the gold medal in the half-heavyweight class.

Four years later he won the bronze medal in the open category.
