Sheriff Blake

John Frederick "Sheriff" Blake (September 17, 1899 in Ansted, West Virginia - October 31, 1982 in Beckley, West Virginia), is a professional baseball player who played pitcher in the Major Leagues from 1920-1931 and 1937. He would play for the St. Louis Browns, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies, and Chicago Cubs.
