The
Church of the Holy Transfiguration of Christ on the Mount is a wooden church built on Meads Mountain in
Woodstock, New York around 1891. During the 1960s,
Father Francis started practicing an offshoot of
Catholicism which welcomed the
hippies who had congregated in the town.
