Sandy Bay Football Club were an Australian rules football club which competed in the Tasmanian Football League (TFL) from 1945 to 1997. They were known as the Seagulls and wore Blue and White as their club colours.
The club played their home games at Queenborough Oval in the Hobart suburb of Sandy Bay and also played home games at North Hobart Oval at various stages during the 1980's and 1990's.
Sandy Bay were most successful in the 1970's, playing in every grand final from 1971 to 1978.
Footballers from the club to have played in the VFL include Darrin Pritchard, Eric Zschech, Stan Booth, Terry Cashion and Tony Martyn. Sandy Bay's games record holder is Bob Lahey who played 315 TFL games with them.
