Dhun Jehangir Ruttonjee

Ruttonjee was born in Hong Kong in 1903. He attended St. Joseph's College, Hong Kong
, and was an undergraduate at the University of Hong Kong
. He was made an Unofficial member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong
, and served until 1968 and received the degree of Doctor of Laws
from the University of Hong Kong
Ruttonjee died on July 28, 1974.
Ruttonjee's sister Tehmi Ruttonjee-Desai, died of tuberculosis in 1943. Ruttonjee was chairman of the Hong Kong Anti-Tuberculosis and Thoracic Diseases Association until his death.
