Rya Taza (Ռյա Թազա, also
Romanized as
Rrya T’aza,
Ria Taza, and
Rrya Taza - meaning "new way" in
Kurdish; formerly,
Kondakhsaz,
Kondagsaz, and
Ghondaksaz) is a town in the
Aragatsotn Province of
Armenia. Most residents are
Yezidis. The town has a ruined church from the
10th to
13th century and a cemetery with animal-shaped tombstones.
