Rector Street (BMT Broadway Line)

Rector Street is a station on the BMT Broadway Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the corner of Rector Street and Trinity Place in Lower Manhattan, the station is served by the train at all times except late nights, when it is replaced by the train. The train provides supplementary service during rush hours, middays, and early evenings.

The station has two platforms, downtown and uptown, which are not connected. This station was overhauled in the late 1970s. The overhaul repaired the station's structure and the overall appearance, updating the original wall tiles, old signs, and incandescent lighting to the 1970s modern look wall tiles, signs and fluorescent lights. It also fixed staircases and platform edges. The blue tiles provide the backdrop to the lettering, similar to Prospect Avenue station in Brooklyn.
