Ratey Chu

Ratey Chu is a river in Sikkim, that is the main source of water supply for the capital Gangtok. Ratey Chu emerges from the glacial fed lake Tamze at altitude . Ratey Chu river is tapped at an altitude of . From this Tapping Point or Water Supply Head Work (altitude 6800 ft.) water is transported to a distance of to Selep Water Treatment Plant site.
