The Cambridge CQC is based at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP), within the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, located near Clarkson Road and Wilberforce Road in West Cambridge. The Oxford base is the Clarendon Laboratory (Lindemann building), which is located opposite the T-junction of Keble Road and Parks Road.
The CQC's permanent faculty to date have been Artur Ekert, Leigh Trapnell Professor of Quantum Physics at Cambridge from 2002 to 2007, and Adrian Kent, currently Reader in Quantum Physics at Cambridge. The University expects to appoint a successor to Artur Ekert as Leigh Trapnell Professor in the near future.
