The
Prize of Liberty (
Prijs voor de Vrijheid in
Dutch, sometimes translated as
Prize for Liberty or
Prize for Freedom) is an annual award delivered by the
Flemish classical-liberal thinktank Nova Civitas. It is considered one of the most important
liberal awards in the
Low Countries.
Every laureate is to hold a so-called Gustave de Molinari Lecture before receiving the award. Gustave de Molinari was a very famous Belgian liberal philosopher.
