Podura

Podura

"Poduroidea" redirects here. This is also the old name of Poduromorpha, when these were placed in the "Arthropleona"

Poduridae is a small family of stout-bodied springtails containing only the single genus Podura, and four constituent species. They make up the monotypic superfamily Poduroidea.

The most well-known and widely-distributed of these is the water springtail, Podura aquatica.
