Pingali Nagendrarao

Pingali Nagendrarao (b. 1901 - d. 1971) is one of the most original and creative Telugu movie script writers and lyricists. Famous for his witty and romantic lyrics, he also wrote dialogues for many a great movie. Patala Bhairavi, Mayabazar and Missamma are some of his best known works.

Pingali is famous for his coining of new and funny words/phrases in telugu like Dhimbaka, Dingari, Gimbali. He was extremely popular and was loved by one and all.
