Philippe de Remi

Beaumanoir, Philippe de Remi, sire de, c.1250-1296, French poet and jurist, a writer of medieval law texts. He was a judicial officer at Clermont and Senlis. His Coutumes de Beauvoisis [customary laws of the region of Beauvais] is an important source for medieval French law and social customs.

Saint-Philippe-de-Néri is a parish municipality in the Canadian province of Quebec, located in the Kamouraska Regional County Municipality.
