Peranmai (2008) is a Tamil forthcoming film directed by film director, S.P.Jananathan starring Jayam Ravi in the lead role. It began its first schedule on March 12, 2008.

Early indications suggested that Navya Nair, Karthika and Akshaya would portray three of the heroines but all three have denied their participation in the film. Jayam Ravi has lost weight for the role of a forest officer in this film. He plays a one-man army in this film similar to that of Sylvester Stallone in Rambo. Debutants Saranya, Tanusika, Varsha, Vasundra, Liyasree play the lead female roles. The film also has an elephant which is said to have a huge part in the film.
