Reginald O'Brien

Reginald Charles O'Brien (23 January 192620 April 1999) was an Australian politician. Born in Newcastle, New South Wales, he was educated at technical schools in Sydney before military service. On his return, he was a public servant, and was an official of the Clerks' Union in Queensland. In 1961, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Labor member for Petrie, defeating Liberal minister Alan Hulme. He was defeated by Hulme in 1963. O'Brien died in 1999.
