Parandrinae

Parandrinae

Parandrinae is a subfamily of the longhorn beetle family (Cerambycidae). This subfamily includes only 3 small genera (though some authors elevate the subgenus Neandra of Parandra to generic status). These beetles are very atypical for cerambycids, in that the antennae are quite short, and the tarsi have 5 easily-visible segments; they are thus rather similar in appearance to stag beetles.
