Ono, in the Bible, town, W central ancient Palestine, the modern Qiryat Ono, Israel, E of Tel Aviv.

In Japanese, Ono (小野) and Ōno (大野) are different place names and also common surnames. Ono 'small field' and Ōno means 'large field'. Both are used as Japanese surnames and many different people use one of the two writings.
