1 Bloor East is a mixed-use skyscraper currently under construction at the intersection of Bloor Street and Yonge Street in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Construction began in the third quarter of 2008.

Architecture

Designed by Bazis International, the 81-story 1 Bloor East will be approximately 275 m (902.2 ft) tall. The proposal calls for a semi-transparent metal and glass tower that will use environmentally friendly and efficient technology. The building will include 132 hotel rooms and 592 condominiums.
