Grist-O-Line is a demo cassette by Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids. It was recorded and released in fall or winter of 1990, and either it or Big Black Bus was the band's first cassette to be sold.

Track listing

  1. "Dune Buggy"
  2. "Cake and Sodomy"
  3. "Meat For a Queen"
  4. "She's Not My Girlfriend"

Side-B: Although up to an additional three songs have been mentioned as being on Side B (including "Devil In My Lunchbox" from the Satan's On Fire side project), there were only a total of the above 4 songs on this tape, as per the cover artwork (scans of which can readily be found on the internet). Whether or not these songs were split two to a side (most likely, as were all other early cassette releases) or were simply all on side A of the tape is unknown. This confusion is thanks in part to the large number of bootleg recordings of these early cassette releases which were made and passed around to a great extent in the mid-90's, many of which switched around songs and track listings due to the lack of a reliable, centralized source for this information at this time.

Other information

Grist-O-Line came in a cassette case with photocopied sleeve artwork. The front cover featured the band's logo above the text "From Lunch Wagon To Gas Station..." and a clip art collage of an American flag inserted in a gasoline can.
