Geography, economy and tourism
The district lies between Gitarama
, straddling the main Kigali
road. It contains the Laiterie de Nyabasindu
, one of Rwanda's largest milk and yoghurt producing companies. The palace of the mwami
(traditional king) of Rwanda was located in Nyanza town.
Nyanza district is divided into 10 sectors
