Linda O'Neil

Linda O'Neil (born August 12, 1974) is an American model and actress. O'Neil was born near Sacramento, California, U.S. on Mather Air Force Base. Her family moved several times and lived in Guam as well. Her father was an airplane gunner in the Vietnam War. She is the second of three daughters. Her father is half French and half Irish and met O'Neil's mother in Vietnam. O'Neil divided her time in high-school between athletics and modeling. She was married at an early age, however it did not last long.

Career

O'Neil began her modeling career at age fifteen. She has appeared in numerous hotrod and dirtbike calendars and magazines and has become a modern-day pin-up girl. She has also appeared in several foot fetish films from FM Concepts (almost always along with fellow model Cory Lane), Playboy Special Editions , Playboy videos and Mystique Magazine.

O'Neil has also appeared in television commercials for MCI, Toyota, Nike, Resorts Casinos, FX Channel, Heineken, Virgin Cola, Mercedes-Benz, Vonage as well as print ads and/or articles for the likes of Sony, Coors Light and Ironman Magazine amongst others.

She gained widespread popularity on the Internet after appearing on Lisa Boyle's website and then on BlueNudes where she appeared in artistic nudes taken by photographer Tom Ruddock. Soon she started the official Linda O'Neil website, with her sister Lisa as webmaster, and her loyal fan base has grown steadily since.

In mid-May 2007 Linda's site stopped being updated and by 18 June 2007 Linda's website became only partially functional with certain (archival) links becoming totally inactive. By late November 2007 her domain address was no longer accessible. While no formal announcement was given, many of her fans believe she has retired from the modeling business. Linda has stated that she was having some personal issues and wanted privacy while dealing with them.

As of March 3, 2008, her web site splash-screen is back up with a "Returning Soon" message. As of April 8, 2008, the splash-screen still appears, but "Returning Soon" has been removed. As of May 21, 2008, contact links appear. As of May 22, 2008, a low-res streaming video of her Vonage commercial is also available.
