Nieu-Bethesda

Nieu-Bethesda is a village in the Eastern Cape at the foot of the Sneeuberge, approximately from Graaff Reinet. Originally established as a mission station in 1875, it became a municipality about 1886.

It is known for the Owl House, a museum dedicated to the eccentric artist, Helen Martins.
