Neustift im Stubaital is a municipality in the district Innsbruck-Land and is located 25 km south of Innsbruck deep down in the Stubaital. It has an incredible area size of 249 km² and is the 3rd biggest municipality of Tyrol.

Neustift was mentioned in documents in the 14^th century for the first time. Nowadays the location is one of the most important tourism centres of Austria.
