Nationalist Youth Congress is the youth wing of the Nationalist Congress Party. Nationalist Youth Congress Maharashtra State is headed by Mr. Mahesh Bharat Tapase. It is the largest political youth organisation in Maharashtra. A lot many of its office bearers are elected to Zilla Parishad/Municipal Corporation/Panchyat Samiti etc.

The Maharashtra State Nationalist Youth Congress has 54 districts (units) each headed by a district president. Regular Meetings are conducted at the NCP head quarters in Mumbai. Various issues such as employment & Self-employment,Agriculture, Education, Health & hygience, Industrial development etc are discussed.

The Nationalist Youth Congress is by far the most politically active youth organisation in the state of Maharastra and will be organising a state youth convention at Aurangabad on 28th October 2007 to be chaired by Shri Sharad Pawar.
