Nanjing Aeronautics and Astronautics University

Nanjing Aeronautics and Astronautics University is a university located in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China.

The official name of this university is Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, or NUAA for short. In Chinese, the university name is sometimes shortened to Nanhang, or南航, meaning Nanjing Astronautics.

The university has two campuses, Ming Palace (明故宫) campus and Jiangjunlu (将军路) campus.

History

The school was founded in October 1952, as the Nanjing College of Aviation Industry. In 1956, it was renamed as Nanjing Aeronautical Institute, and, in 1993, as the current name, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
