He is frequently involved with exhibiting his work through galleries. His recent solo show, Keep Your Distance was held at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris in September 2005. His work forms part of the public collection at the National Portrait Gallery and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. In the USA his work has been shown at Fahey Klein Gallery and the Peter Fetterman Gallery in Los Angeles and he’s represented by Yancey Richardson Gallery in New York.
Nadav’s first monograph, Beauty’s Nothing (Arena Editions) was published in 2001. The book was followed up with a catalogue of nocturnal landscapes entitled Nadav Kander – Night which accompanied his exhibitions at the Yancey Richardson Gallery, New York and Shine Gallery, London.
He has won numerous awards, from the D&AD and the John Kobal Foundation in the UK; Epica in Europe; to the Art Director’s Club and IPA in the USA. He was also awarded the Royal Photographic Society’s ‘Terence Donovan’ Award in 2002 and was nominated for the Schweppes Photographic Portrait Prize in 2003.
