Myoporum viscosum (Sticky Boobialla) is a shrub which is endemic to Australia. It grows to 2 metres in height with leaves that are 2 to 11 cm long (including the petiole) and 5 to 40 mm in width. The flowers are white with a slight pink-purplish flush and purple spots. These appear in the leaf axils in clusters of 3 to 7. Peak flowering time is June to November in South Australia. The succulent, rounded fruits are around 5 mm in diameter.
