The Mocidade Portuguesa (Portuguese Youth) was a compulsory Portuguese paramilitary youth organization under the right-wing regime of the Estado Novo, under dictator António de Oliveira Salazar, with similarities and based upon the model of the Nazi Hitler Youth. Founded in 1936, it was dissolved after the Carnation Revolution of 1974, being considered as a Fascist organization.
