Micah Boyd (b. April 6, 1982) is a male crew rower who qualified for the prestigious eight-man rowing competition of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, competing for the United States. Boyd graduated from Saint Paul Central High School and trained at the Minnesota Boat Club; he wears a distinctive Minnesota Twins cap during some races and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Natural Resources. The 6'3" twin is a two-time national team member who won the pair at the first 2008 National Selection Regatta and now lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also won a bronze medal at the 2005 World Rowing Championships.. Micah Boyd is currently a member of Pennsylvania Athletic Club which is located along boathouse row in Philadelphia.. While Micah is an outstanding athlete and competitor, he is not very good at pushups and is rumored to be able to only do 15 to 25 in a row.
