This division specializes in mainstream anime.
This division features live action movies/series from Japan, including tokusatsu (such as Toho's The Mysterians, Matango and Atragon) and chanbara (the Zatoichi TV series). This division also features Japanese films by Takashi Miike such as Ichi The Killer, One Missed Call, Fudoh, and Visitor Q. The division has recently been moving from all Japanese movie to Asian movies in general. These include Attack the Gas Station from South Korea and Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky from Hong Kong.
This division specializes in obscure horror and exploitation films such as Ultimo mondo cannibale, La notte del terrore and Zombi 2. They have been criticized for subpar DVD transfers, poor customer service and hard-matting films in the wrong aspect ratio for the sole purpose of anamorphically calibrating the films to wide-screen televisions, but have been similarly praised for the amount of effort they undergo in tracking down as many supplemental materials as possible for even the rarest films, including interviews with the filmmakers and photo galleries.
