Mathew Priest (born 3 April 1970, Birmingham, England) is most notably known as the drummer from Dodgy. He has also plays and has played with The Lightning Seeds, The Electric Soft Parade, and Ian McNabb in The Icicle Works.
He contributes to Rhythm Magazine in the UK, reviewing the demos sent in by readers.
His knowledge of music was shown to full effect during his appearances on Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
Mathew normally interacts with fans of Dodgy, for example he writes the majority of the blogs on their myspace page.
He co-wrote and performed in the Edinburgh Fringe show 2 Drummers Drumming 2008
