Marong, Victoria

Marong is a town in Victoria, Australia. At the 2001 census, Marong had a population of 266. It is located kilometres to the west of Bendigo. Its local government area is the City of Greater Bendigo. The town is located at the junction of the Calder Highway (A79) and the Calder Alternate Highway (A790).


The Post Office opened on 1 January 1860.

The town has an Australian Rules football team competing in the Loddon Valley Football League.
