Political activities

Noble, born in Columbus, Ohio, and graduate of Ohio State University, began a career in politics in 2005, running for Lieutenant Governor of Ohio as a member of the Libertarian party, and receiving 67,596 votes, well behind the winner, albeit nearly double that of the Green party candidate.

He was elected to the position of Franklin County Libertarian Party chairmanship in 2006, and re-elected in 2008.

His campaign for gun rights garnered him national publicity in 2007, including coverage of the Empty Holster Protest by Fox News.

Legal challenge

Following a successful challenge to the unconstitutional ballot access laws with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 2008, Noble was able to officially mount his candidacy for House of Representatives, Ohio's 15th district.

Platform

Previously, Noble has campaigned on platforms including policies of reduced regulation, lower taxes, personal responsibility, reform of eminent domain abuse, parental choice, and an adherence to the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
