The shell is globose, with little expansion of the last whorl
, imperforate, but with a narrow crescentic, callus-filled umbilical
Coloration is purplish-brown or reddish zigzag axial bands, often crossed by several pink spiral lines, the whole on a pinkish-white to creamy ground. The interior of the aperture is greenish iridescent.
The maximum shell height is 8.5 mm, and width 9 mm.
