Maradhoo-Feydhoo (Seenu Atoll)

Maradhoo-Feydhoo (Dhivehi: މަރަދޫފޭދޫ) is one of the inhabited islands of the Seenu Atoll. Refugees of S.Feydhoo were transferred to Maradhoo during the British rule in addu atoll. Those people were placed in the houses of Maradhoo and later the land of maradhoo was given to these refugees. The area was later named as Maradhoo feydhoo and a separate island office was built. Even though it is called maradhoo feydhoo, it is still the land of maradhuans. Politically and geographically Maradhoo and maradhoo feydhoo are same.
