Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Jamshedpur

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, also known as MGM Medical College, is an Indian medical school established in 1964 affiliated to Ranchi University, Ranchi. It is situated in the outskirts of Jamshedpur near Dimna. The students are admitted through an All India pre medical test CBSE PMT held by CBSE and Jharkhand and Bihar states' combined entrance tests. The college's hospital is located in Sakchi. This hospital caters to the poor and needy people in and around Jamshedpur. Currently there is post graduate education in Anatomy(MS), Physiology(MD)and Pharmacology(MD).Postgraduate diploma is in radiodiagnosis (DMRD), obstetrics & gynecology (DGO) and in paediatrics (DCH). Students undergo parts of their clinical training at Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur.
