MOKON is a division of Protective Industries (Caplugs) from Buffalo, New York, USA. It is also the brand name of the circulating liquid, temperature control machines produced by this division. Created from need for "mold control" and used in the production of plastic molding, Caplugs division of Protective Closures devised the MOKON water unit. After much trial and error the MOKON water unit was perfected and installed. Started in the late 1950's as it's own division of the company, MOKON has evolved into its own stand alone division with more than 40 employees and roughly $8 million in annual sales. Several different product lines are available including custom units in the water, oil and chiller style and pump tanks were recently added.
