Lorenzo Charles

Lorenzo Emile Charles, nicknamed Zo (born November 25 1963, in Brooklyn, New York), is a retired American college and professional basketball player.

Charles is a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School. While playing for the North Carolina State University Wolfpack, Charles scored the game-winning dunk in the championship game of the 1983 NCAA Tournament over the heavily favored Houston Cougars led by Akeem Olajuwon, Clyde "The Glide" Drexler and the rest of Phi Slama Jama.
