Lorca Deportiva Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football team formed in 2002 and based in Lorca. They will play the 2008-09 season in the Segunda División B. In the season 2007-08 they finished in 11th position in the 2ªB Group 2. The team is based in the city of Lorca in the autonomous community of Murcia. They play in the Francisco Artés Carrasco Stadium, which seats 8,000 spectators.

History

Lorca Deportiva Club de Fútbol was founded in 2002 immediately after the defunction of Lorca Club de Fútbol that was founded in 1994. In his first season played in Tercera División and was promoted to Segunda División B. In the first season in Segunda División B they qualified for the play-offs after finishing the season in second. Next season they finish fourth and was promoted to Segunda División. With Unai Emery, the club was closley together of the promotion to La Liga. But the next season, Unai Emery signed with UD Almería, the most important players signed with others teams and the club was relegated to Segunda División B again, where they plays now.
