The village public house is The Ox Inn. There is no village shop. There are numerous farms in the area including Manor Farm, Redcliffe Farm, and Lingholm Farm.
According to the 2001 UK census, Lebberston parish had a population of 182.
In 1977, to commemorate the Queen's Silver Jubilee, a road race was run, from The Ox Inn to The Bull Inn at Gristhorpe.
Farming is the predominant type of business. The east coast of North Yorkshire has a thriving tourism industry, dominated by Scarborough, a leading resort and spa town. There are several camping sites for both touring and static caravans.
Lebberston Golf Course is situated at Flower Of May Holiday Park, just north of the village centre. The golf course is a play & pay course of 9 holes.
Lebberston is also the home of Lebberston Market, an outdoor Sunday market, which takes place each year throughout the summer season.
